When a guy tells you to listen to a song any meaning behind it?

so I was texting this guy that I used to talk to a year or so ago and I think we may start talking again but he told me the songs that were stuck in his head were "my boo" by usher. then he told me to listen to the songs "god spent a little more time on you" "i do" and "this I promise you" all of these are love songs with such sweet lyrics so my question is, is there any meaning behind why he would chose these songs? I have my own ideas but I would just like to here a few others!

I love " I do", so many youthful memories and it's really just a beautiful song ( a wedding song at that).

Maybe he was just sharing his music interest with you. You know like when two people first meet and typical questions are " What type of movies/music do you like?" or " What's your hobbies?" People like sharing interests and finding similar interests with others. I guess it's a way of getting to know if you'd gel together.

I 'will' say this though he couldn't think you were just of 'no' interest to him, telling you 'those' types of songs in particular are stuck in his head. It could be the start of something ( 'could' be).

My boyfriend usually sends me links to songs he likes just to share his music with me or something to cheer me up. But once in a while, he'd send me a song and say 'pay close attention to the lyrics' or 'this song is for you'. So yeah, he might be hinting something at you :D

It's complicated because he could simply just like those songs and keeps thinking about them or he could have someone on his mind so that those songs are coming into his head. It's possible he was trying to indirectly tell you how he feels but then again it's not certain.

He's a romantic type of guy. Probably you already know that. I don't think it means anything in particular as far as his feelings about you, though.

there's no coincidence that these are all love songs, he trying to tell you something. But if you're really unsure just ask him why he wants you to hear the songs

romantic guy or not, I certainly wouldn't tell my male friend, regardless if I liked the songs for themselves, to listen to them, I think he likes you and is trying to tell you.

Of course,he want to tell you he love you but he want to use another way and it's better than hesay it directly.
