How do I stop being one of the guys?

I hang out with a group of guys a lot but it seems that they all think of me as one of the guys. I'm not sure I even register as a girl to most of them. I wear makeup and show cleavage but I still seem to be one of the guys.

How can I change this? Or can I even change this?

Thanks for all the input. I wear heels and makeup, my hair is always done nice but I guess the fact that I can handle my liqour, shoot guns and rebuild an engine has just permanently made me one of the guys. Could it be because I am a overweight?

Pretty much what anonymous said. It's not really about what you are wearing, though that does play a small role. It's the fact that you are spending to much time around men and not around women.

You interest could poosibly seem to male as well. Contrary to what we might say, we actually like a girl who is interested in shopping, make up, shoes, and all that girlie stuff. Within reason of course. Acting like paris hilton is not attractive. Vice verse we of course like a girl who can talk about football with us, but if that's all you can talk about then your going to come off as a guy.

In reality, its about finding a perfect balance, easier said than done I know. Being enough of a guy that guys can connect with you, but being enough of a girl that you still appear feminine. Again, one of the best ways to do this is by simply spending more time with the girls and less time with the guys.

Do not worry about this. Even men that would assume you were a tomboy of sorts would consider you feminine. Its just they are comfortable being themselves with you but that no way means they would not get all nervous if and when you illustrate just how feminine you CAN act like. Worst case scenario think of it like women who think nerds could never be 'hot' in bed when in actual fact they are most likely to be because they read up on the matter. Same applies to a woman who knows how to comfort a man's mind to be himself. This outside and inside the bedroom are also quite true, in my experience with tomboys who proved to be more feminine then the others were. It's great and cool ! :)

If they are mostly healthy, then they set their bar on someone healthy. Even if they are overweight, they want someone who is ideally healthy. I went to Brazil and one of the girl has great personality and was very cute. But all the guys lumped her into "friend - drink buddy" because was overweight. Not people don't over look it but after being friends and they realize they don't find you attractive = only one of the guys.

To stop being one of the guys you have to stop hanging out with the guys. They'll never see you as something more if you're always doing the same things as them and getting hammered.

These things def make you one of the guys.

I'm going to also be brutally honest with you. If your overweight, most guys are going to write you off. They'll feed you excuses like, "I'm not looking for a relationship", or "Your not my type" or "I just see you as a friend", or even "I see you as just one of the guys", because they simply don't want to say to your face "I don't find you attractive". When a guy hands a girl the friend card, its because he doesn't find her attractive. My guess is calling you one of the guys is just another form of that.

Wear tight pants, yoga pants, leggings, etc. And a tight top with cleavage and I'm sure it will get some of them going. If you want to stop being one of the guys it's as simple as acting fake or changing your entire personality. If someone doesn't like you well.. it's not going to work.

Overweight is going to be the #1. It depends but if someone was very overweight I wouldn't see myself in a relationship with them.
