What does it mean when a guy kissed the top of your head?

I was with a guy yesterday and I had my head on his shoulder while watching a movie at the theater. He's my best friend but we both have admitted to having feelings for the other. While laying on his shoulder he kissed me on the top of my head, and that's not the first time. Why did he do it? And what does it mean?

He has feelings for you. I bet more than anything that guy wishes he could kiss you on the lips for once and not on the head. I guarantee if you move your head up off his shoulder and look him in the eyes and lean in for a kiss the next time you're at the theaters, he'll do it with little hesitation.

the thing is he had just broken up with his girlfriend that day and then 2 days later after hitting on me, he gets back with her... I'm wondering if he broke up with her to hit on me and then go back to her... I'm so hurt and so confused!
