Why are hot girls always so nice?

Alright I understand they are not always nice, some are the bitchy kind but for some reason the majority of the time when I talk to really hot and popular girls (which I try to do whenever I have the chance) they are always nice. I know that they are not interested in dating me because they are out of my league but I just want some theories from males and females as to why you think this is true, and also tell me if you have experienced the same thing.

1) genetics: some people are simply born with great genes so they are attractive and nice people to talk to.

2) environment: as a society we value the beautiful girls even at young ages and we are friendlier to them.. which could teach them that most people who talk to them are probably going to help them or at least be nice to them, which will in a way train them to be friendly with most people who talk to them.

another possibility is that (seeing your age) you may not have been in the popular girls' league when you were growing up, but now you may have grown into your looks (plus girls may be more mature and not be as nit picky about guys' looks.. most girls want just an average looking guy and care more about what you have to say and how compatable you two are). you might think they are way out of your league, but have you ever seen the movie She's Out of My League? you may be underestimating yourself.

I would really like to think that is true. I just can't tell for myself at the moment, I am 6'1 and skinny but I look young for my age. It is harder to tell for guys because your friends won't tell you if your attractiveness level has gone up and since I already lack experience in flirting with girls past a certain point I can't tell if a girl is attracted to me unless she is being blatantly obvious about it. well, when a girl is really pretty she will get a lot more attention than anyone else (as sad as it sounds it's true). people are nicer to you, they are more willing to listen and are also a lot more helpful towards you. so when you go through this your whole life, you sort of get 'inspired' in a way to become nicer to others like they are to you.

that's not always the case though as you said. sometimes the girl might become flirty with everyone, expects all the attention and thinks she's superior to everyone else. so really it could go either way.

they could be nice,or you could just be under the halo effect. a lot of guys/girls think a person is nice because they're attracted to them,so it could be an illusion,but,there is also the fact that people are nice to pretty girls.

I beg to differ, they are NOT nice to those they are not attracted to. not around here in Boston anyway. Maybe where you are they are nice, but not here. In fact, they get mad when an ugly guy even gets within their eye sight. That's the reason why the ihollaback organization was invented. They say it was to stop street harassment but it was really to get ugly guys to back off and get back in their houses and stay there.

I am not really running into these girls in the street they are just in the same academic course I am in, maybe one or two on the street but that's it. I have been to Boston I have family there, (Ironically I am wearing a Red Sox T-shirt as we speak) I am sure you are just going about your approach wrong. When I talk to these girls I have a small reason too which normally makes the conversation go smother but it never goes anyway, I will probably never go out with these girls.

I don't even have to approach them, they judge me just by me breathing the same air as them. I don't even do anything at all and they "holla back".

Let me tell you a story, in both high schools I went to I was a total loser, I didn't go to prom and I only had one date with a girl ever and it wasn't even really a date, it was a friend date. This very same loser in his first year of college walked stone cold up to the absolute hottest girl in the high school I graduated from and introduced my self. She did not right me off, she accepted me as an acquaintance and now she always says high when she walks past me.
