Frequent eye contact means attraction?

Does frequent eye contact initiated by a guy means he is attracted to me? We've known each other for a few months now. That happens a lot when none of us is speaking, he just looks at me and it lasts for like 3-5 seconds every time.

What I do know is that guys don't make eye contact as much as girls, so when they do they have an agenda. Watch other guys who are talking to each other - they don't make eye contact often. They both stare at some common 3rd point in the distance.

Personally, if I am making eye contact with a girl I am trying to get her to notice me and hope she meets me half way by saying hi.

Generalizations are useful, but there are exceptions. Good luck.

yes yes yes! It means he is attracted to you because same thing I use to do to girls whom I find attractive...when you catch him glancing he break the glance and start looking somewhere else isn't it? ...he is just doing what he is naturaly programed to do, it is first step of attraction..

Well actually when I catch him glancing he keeps watching and most of the time I am the one who breaks the glance after a few seconds (I am not very comfortable with eye contact but since I make eye contact with him I get better at it). If it happened only once I would say he was just looking at me at that very moment, but it happened almost every day in the past 3-4 weeks...

this is a way to show his interest in you...he is trying hard to be in your thinking because the more you think of him the chances of you falling for him increases and eye contact is a non communicative way to come in person's thinking
