Should I let him buy me a plane ticket to visit him?

I've know this guy for almost a year. I know he really likes me, maybe even loves me. We actually jokingly(apparently only on my part was it a joke) about getting married and he has offered to buy me a plane ticket from Salt Lake City to San Diego. I would have to buy my return flight which is fine with me.

He has all these amazing things planned for us to do together, and I do really want to go see him. My problem is that I don't feel right with him buying me a ticket. Should I let him pay for me to get there or just show up when I can afford the whole thing myself?

I have a friend who lives on the other side of the country. I help her out a little so she can come to visit. Much like your friend I also have a lot of things for us to do.

I really enjoy her visits. I really, really missed her the last time she left. I'm looking forward to her coming out again. Actually I can hardly wait for her to come again.

How can this guy own her, if they're sharing the cost of her coming to him. It's a shared experience for them both, so it'll be a shared flight cost.

Technically but I feel bad since I'd be staying at his house, eating his food, while he took me on dates.

Well you gotta do what you gotta do in these situations. I'm in an LDR and it's almost always my boyfriend coming here instead of me going to him, so I'm the one housing him and feeding him, haha. It's not a hassle at all when I'm just glad he's here.

Oh no he and I aren't in a relationship because he refuses to have an LDR but at least 4 times a week he tells me he loves me so I don't know.
