Maybe body hair just doesn't matter that much one way or another to certain girls, or that they actually have a preference for that style? Odd as it may sound, I don't think it is that far fetched. You be surprised at just how many things people find attractive that many others wouldn't.
Body hair is the least amount of problem, not to mention the same "desperation" thing goes for many guys as well. Trying to date and get laid with the first girl who says 'yes'... no matter who it is.
i think maybe that guy treats her like princess and when some people really love each other they look over the bad parts of the bodies. and FYI guys are desperate too :)
the question could be asked why some boys are so desperate. it doesn't really correlate with gender rather the person
