My boyfriend have been together for awhile now. When someone calls his phone he tells then that me and my Ole lady are watching movie or my Ole lady are bout to go to the store. He also calls me beautiful, girlfriend, woman, etc. I have never been in a relationship that is from Scottish descendant always dated Italians guys. Now does the term 'Ole lady' come from Scotland? And what did it mean to be called his Ole lady? I have tried to look it up online and couldn't find anything. He is five years older then me I'm 27 and he is 31.
Just another word for significant other. I think that its a shortened version of the title "the ole ball and chain", which is an old school title for a wife that you've been married to for a while, one who kinda nags and is kind of a wet blanket.

Ole Lady is a term used for girlfriend/wife/woman.
Typically, biker gangs (not saying your boyfriend is in one!) call their wives their "ole lady" to show possession and for other members to back off.
