I think he probably wants to buy you flowers. Whenever my boyfriend wants to do something sweet for me, he texts me saying, "I have a very serious question for you," and follows it up with something like your guy asked. Then, within a short frame of time, I am "surprised" by my favorite cookies, or what have you.
But don't be upset if he doesn't get you flowers. Guys can be total airheads sometimes, and it doesn't mean anything about their feelings for you.
But I hope he does get you flowers. :) Every girl deserves flowers now and again. :)

Someone ask me that before on Valentine's day , He made me so nervous I could barely get it out . I know what my favorite flower is , But anyway he's interested in your taste .
He's going to buy you flowers or was trying to start a conversation, the first is much more likely.
It means nothing, seriously. I can't possibly think of any reason that I'd ask a girl what's her favorite flower. He could be:
1. Doing a poll.
2. Found some idiotic love-calculator in the internet that tells you how closely you and a certain potential partner match.
3. He wants to buy you that flower on a certain occasion.
4. Maybe he just delegated you into wondering why he'd ask such a thing so you'll be thinking about him a lot and even ask in a forum what it means.
Really, it could be anything and nothing...
You asked him to sadies. Is that Sadie Hawkins Day? If so, he is probably wanting to know what kind of corsage to buy you.. That would be the most logical.

could be many things, maybe prepared for a surprise for you, or just interested in your taste.
Most of the time, or shall I say when I've asked that question, was because I was going to buy my girlfriend flowers.
He probably likes you and wants to impress you.
He's going to get you some
it doesn't have to mean anything
