What does it mean when he says our relationship is complicated?

He pursuits me first, but he is also the one who broke up with me. He really liked me, but I never took him serious until he was gone. He said he could not find a contact between us, but I know that is just because I was very distant to him.

I think I made him very disappointed. I never realize I actually care about him until he was gone.

Anyway, he acted kind of weird after the first week we broke up. I feel he was avoiding me somehow. Then, a month later, I texted him that I miss him when I was very drunk. I was very embarrassed the next day, so I said sorry to him. However, he was super nice about it. He told me don't worry, and asked me to go to a party. I went to the party. I feel he was trying to get my attention but I was too embarrassed to talk to him though.

It seemed like he was interested again. However, I saw he yesterday during the dinner, I feel he start avoiding me again... It is like we say hi when we see each other, but I feel he is distant. (I guess I acted very distant too?)

Yesterday, one of my guy friends told me he was asking my ex if we are still together. My ex said "no, it is complicated."

Does it mean I still have a chance?

Before you try anything, figure out your feelings first. Do you really like him? Do you want to be with him? If so, stop being hot and cold and give him your full attention. He's probably distant 'cause he still likes you but doesn't understand your behavior.

Guys need to be constantly reminded that the girl they like also likes them back or else they'll give up. So help the guy out and give him some really strong cues. Go over to him next time and just talk...ask him out on a date or ask him if the two of you can sit down and seriously talk.

You have a chance but you need to make it very clear to him. Invite him over, serve wine, and after a few glasses sit close. Have a funny movie to watch so that he's in a good mood and then when the moment is right, go for a kiss. Don't back down, don't get shy, go for what you want. If you get one kiss then move in for a second before he has a chance to think about it. Be a tiger and eat him up before he has a chance to run - you'll get him.
