Long hair is a sign of youth, health, and beauty. Short hair is a sign of older women who have given up on maintaining their hair (and often their appearance).
Even in Hollywood, where images are maintained, older women always have short hair:

I usually don't like short hair on girls. A girls saying that the shortest she would ever cut her hair is mid back makes her more attractive. I find shoulder length a standard length for girls, but girls who would never have her hair so short are more attractive for me.
i got right above my shoulders but still not "short" when I was 16 because I had tried to bleach my hair myself and it was this brassy ugly color so I wanted to cut a lot of it out. people said it looked good but I would not go that short again. shortest I would go is top of my boobs. I have very long hair and it suits me so well I can't imagine losing it.
Shortest I've ever gone was my shoulders.
However in two weeks time, I'm being brave and radical. I'm chopping my hair off at the back, and keeping it long at the front. It'll be fairly short at the back.
I need a change and a new look and this is the bravest hair I've ever gone for!

You have to be incredibly attractive to get away with the Pixie cut. I hate it on 'regular' women. It seems to me they don't want to do the effort anymore.
Other than that I like hair of all lengths except for the absurdly long, straight down, hair. That's just gross.

My hair is almost at my ass now. I doubt I'd cut it short again, I've turned into a hair hoarder. Short hair is a lot of fun though :) I just look better with long hair.
I hate when girls have short hair. There's nothing to grip. To me (not trying to be an d*ck) but not a lot of girls are pretty enough to pull it off without looking masculine. Of course if you have excellent bone structure and a symmetrical face it's easier. Halle Berry, Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Rihanna...if you're that kind of pretty then go for it. You'll still be hot. But if you're like 99% of normal women grow your hair as long as you naturally can.
The shortest I ever cut my hair was probably a year ago when I shaved the side of my head. It was actually pretty awesome and I loved it so much. I'm actually planning to shave off all my hair this summer to regrow it back out to how it used to be. My hair is really damaged at this point, that's my only option aha

2 years ago I had a Bob Cut.
Now my hair's up to my waist. Lol
I'd love to have short hair again but only when I lose some weight. Haha

I regret it so much. My hair grows very slow and I think I look way better with long hair.
Hey, if it's a pixie type of styledd cut, like the Italian and French women often use, short hair is just as attractive as long hair.
Maybe even better, if you have a Mediterranean look to you, with an oval face.
When I was like 2-5 I had a bob kind of look. Then my mom permed it O.o Now I prefer to keep it shoulderlength or just past. My hair is too thin to look good much longer.
