If a girl mentions another guy is cute does that mean that she is not interested in me?

I was talking to one of my teachers about golf and the girl I like was near and she said that she used to have a really cute golf instructor. Maybe I'm overreacting but does that mean she is not interested in me if she mentions that another person is cute?

In that situation, no not necessarily. She was just making talk/ maybe even flirting. However when a girl tells you personally or in my situation by text, about another guy, Yea it usually means she's not interested.

Not necessarily. Girls aren't as attracted to the physical aspect as guys are. She was most likely just making an observation. But seriously, ask her out :-)
