I remember reading a short story about why girls should not go fishing.
2 male friends can go fishing together, because they can appreciate each others' company IN SILENCE. And silence is required when fishing because you don't wanna scare the fishes off.
But with a girl, if you don't talk to her, she automatically thinks that it's because THERE IS A PROBLEM... (yeah I know it's retarded... but that is how they are for real... )
You will never understand. No guys can understand it... We can only aknowledge it and explain it. But deep inside, it will never make sense to us. It doesn't matter, that is how things are.
It doesn't make sense to you, because as a guy you have no real understanding of how important communication is to girls.
It's as vital as breathing. It's importance can not be over-emphasised.
When you stop talking to her, or worse try giving her the silent treatment, it's a deep wound.
I know that makes no sense to you as a guy, because to you such a thing would be just brushed off. But to her it is the metaphysical kick in the ballsack.
That us extremely weird behavior my best guess would be when she was saying those thugs she may have meant to try to show sarcastic humour as a attic for flirting. Maybe when she noticed that it had the opposite effect she tried to back peddle to get you back. That's my best guess or she may just be crazy.
Hmmm I would say girls do it to be in control, to be in power, to have the upperhand.
