This happened to me before many times, I would look at a girl and smile at her and she will smile and look down after. What does that mean? When I look at her, this girl looks down.

It means she is submissive. She is nervous too so when you see her look down you can do it two ways. 1) You can make light of it and ask what she is looking down at or 2) You can look down and look back and catch her eyes when she picks them up. If she looks back at you after she looks down you'll know. Just be patient and see how it works. Me I have more results with #2

This is how it works for me.
10: Depends on person but flawless in the eyes of the seeker
9: Beautiful but lacking one or two minor elements that would mean perfection. Ex: Might not like eyes or smile could seem cheesy. Almost perfect but human
8: "Hot". The girl at work or school who everyone likes. Not perfect. May have two or three minor flaws. Ex: slightly crooked teeth, big ears or nose, or some acne but otherwise considered beautiful.
7: Your girl that you see that is cute. Usually has a very pretty face but lack luster body or has one major flaw. This is usually the best an average guy can get.
6: The median of girls in the human population. Girls were made to be pretty so the average girl is a six and the average guy is a five. Pretty but definitely is not hot or very cute. Can be considered cute. Has a flaw going against her usually with the face, not with the body. Usually fives that care for themselves are 6.
5: The neutral girl. May be a little too heavy or have bad hair or teeth. Most likely a six who does not have good hygiene. Has a few redeeming qualities to fall below.
4: Not ugly but certainly not average. Can be heavy or too skinny. Has some sort of issue with the face and with the body. Guys who date 4s are ones who believe personality is key.

This scale is only used for looks. Personality can not affect the scale for it too work. A guy usually dates a girl half or a full step higher than them. That's how nature works. If there is more than a two step discrepancy, there will be some judgement. Hope this helps! -
It just means she is shy. I kind of hate when people look at you like that, it feels awkward when you don't know the person. I had a guy staring at me when I was checking out at walmart and then I looked at him then finished paying and looked at him again, he was literally staring at me the whole time. Then as I walked away he turned to watch me leave but didn't say anything. He wasn't bad looking, I don't think I knew him and there was nothing wrong with how I looked because I asked my sister and checked in the car. Like if you want to say something say it or don't look at someone like that it is weird as fuck lol.

A) She's checking out your shoes, or her shoes. She knows what her shoes look like but she's checking them out because she loves them so much. I do that sometimes.
B) My favourite pair of shoes are my red chelsea boots with blue elastic things on the sides.

Well being that she was wearing sweatpants and carrying a bag of chips, means she was wearing her lounge clothes. If she's flattered by you and seems to obviously like the attention you're giving her, then she was just nervous about you seeing her in the clothes she was wearing. It was a lazy day and we all have them. Some girls think that if a guy they like sees them in their 'lounge' wear, they might think their lazy and boring. Keep complimenting her and forget about that run in. & if it does come up, tell her you liked her sweatpants or something. That'll keep you on her mind! :)

Look I don't generally stare at guys when they aren't looking, but the glancing away when walking thing I do to almost all men and many women, to the people I find intimidating. Obviously I am not a very aggressive or assertive person. It's possible that it's similar for her. It might not be specific to you.

She is uncomfortable. You're probably misinterpreting her actions. So often guys think unrelated behaviours are "signs of interest", looking down is the opposite of being interested, and playing with her hair could be a habit, a soothing mannerism, or something she does subconsciously and may be completely unrelated to you.

I guess we could do with seeing a pic for ourselves. I feel that numbers don't mean much. But in numerical terms, I think 5 is the average. I have seen one or two that I would personally rate a perfect 10. The next guy might give them 5 or 6. It really in the eye of the beholder.

a 7/10 is like getting a 2050 on the SATS. You're superior to most of the population and you would analogously be considered pretty smart, but you've still got a long way to go before you have a 2400. 2050 is a solid score though and can get you into most colleges. Likewise probably 95% of guys find you attractive enough to date or hook up with.

I think overall you can't judge this too bad cause the girl could just be shy if you just met, but typically if she's really comfortable with you and makes eye contact and now she's not there could be a problem. Just don't jump to conclusions she could always be having a bad day or something that has nothing to do with you

I would have to say shyness. Yep she is definitly shy or nervous. If you do look at her and hold eye contact and she brakes it first it could mean more than one thing: submition, nervousness, shyness... I would have to say that she is waiting for you to make a move.

Sometimes the girl is embarrassed that you made eye contact. She doesn't know what you think about her, many things are possible. Keep doing eye contact and try to talk to her or at least acknowledge her. Good luck!

She doesn't want to get into that awkward moment of looking at you for too long. So my advice to you is to see if this happens a lot more often. Also use my technique. Ignore her and look at the corner of your eye without actually looking at her to see if there's a stare. If so then she's interested now it's all on you. Good luck

Holy shit, thats some next level stuff. Maybe u are so ugly that she can't even look at you for 2 seconds? Or she is shy and evades eye contact? It could mean that you are searching for meaning in things where are no meaning.
