Is it true that when men adjust/fiddle with their tie, they're nervous?

I notice that my manager sometimes adjusts the position of his tie. I notice him doing it at least once a day. Or is this just a habbit?

I would say it's a pretty believable nervous habit, but sometimes a tie actually needs to be adjusted because it loosened itself a bit from a head moving. I know my nervous habit is to grab or pinch the skin on the back of my neck.

I'm like...OCD when I wear ties. It has to be perfect and symmetrical. That's why I avoid ties when I can and just go open collar.

It's a habit, and also, it makes him feel uncomfortable because of some kind of situation.

lol has nothing to do with being nervous in my case. I like the feeling of readjusting it.

I adjust/fiddle with my tie because it's out of position or I just randomly like adjusting it.

It may be a habit but I get nervous and I normally fiddle with clothing especially ties!

I lack confidence in my tie's ability to stay put so I constantly feel the need to adjust it. If I am nervous, then my tie will soon distract me.
