When a guy keeps glancing at you?

Okay what does it mean when a guy keeps on glancing at you. there's this guy who I think is cute, don't know if I like him yet or not but we've been out with friends a couple of times and he keeps on glancing at me like I'll be sitting and he's talking to everyone else but he'll quickly look at me then away. He does this almost every time he speaks. He almost always hides my phone as well if he sees it lying around somewhere just to mess with me. But I don't think that means anything just the glances are kind of signs. He always glances like always. When we talk he does make eye contact but I break it cause it starts to get awkward. So what do you think?

Sounds like he likes you but he also sounds kind of insecure, he probably is too immature to really date a girl properly yet... otherwise why would it get awkward when you look at each other?

He thinks you're hot though, otherwise he wouldn't keep looking, and he also really likes you. People look at the person they think the most of when they talk, it's pretty much human nature to want to be accepted when we put ourselves out there, but real confident guys don't really do it.

He's hoping that you give him some strong signals that you like him, so he'll be more confident about his feelings for you. Without some strong signs of interest from you, he's going to be too afraid to risk the humiliation of being rejected, so he'll never take things to the next level with you.
