booze can lower inhibitions so perhaps he's too shy to express his feelings or act on them sober. although it sounds like he really was just saying what he needed to say to he could hook up.
but it's one of those two. if he doesn't seem to show any interest in you aside from when drunk then he probably only lusts for you and when he's drunk he acts on that feeling
well it could be the alcohol talking, although really alcohol typically jjust lowers inhibitions, could go either way though, either he didn't really like you but the alcohol lowered his standards, or he really does like you, and the alcohol just made him more confident to be open with you

Well, if there is one thing that I have learned, it was that there are two kinds of people to believe, and those are A) Drunk People and B) People who are pissed off out you. I would take what he said and try to act like you normally would around him and if you ge the chance and you do like him you should tell him that.

a drunk mind is a sober heart
Just act normal. Don't make it worse for him
