Sweetie, I do wear them quite frequently! I love feminine vintage clothing, and enjoy the look and feel of wearing silky underthings, like nylons ,slips ,petticoats etc. I even love the looks and attention I get, when wearing them in a skirt or dress with a slit, showing off a little leg, and some undies. Guess I'm a little naughty, but it's fun. Love the retro/vintage looks, and envy the women of the 40's through early 60's. They were stunning!

  Probably my senior year in high school. I never thought much of the way girls and women dress(like slobs or tramps) and after becoming hooked on old movies, became enthralled by the way the women of yesteryear dressed. It wasn't just the fashions, it was the women themselves,too. So stunning, classy and hot!

  Yes, almost exclusively. Guess I'm a little too "girlie", but that's the way I am, and wouldn't change a thing. I almost live in dresses, skirts and heels. I feel more confident and feminine like that.

  On rare occasions, mostly due to jealousy, which is sort of sad. Sometimes it's pure laziness, as it take some time and effort to get dolled up, when going out, as opposed to just throwing on some sweat pants and flip flops. However, the few negative comments I might get are diminished by the overwhelming compliments from both men and women. In the end, it's about me and how I feel, not what anyone else thinks. Oh, and thank you for your compliment, too.

  I have no problem with girls putting in effort to look amazing as long as they are not late, lol. So do you wear more of a 50's look or a modern look, or do you mix it up?

  I sort of mix it up. The good thing is, that even today, a lot of fashions are inspired by the look of yesteryear. Trendsetters such as Audrey Hepburn, Jaclyn Kennedy, etc. inspired timeless fashions that never go out of style. Just look at the popularity of the "Madmen" TV show. Even the lingerie was so sexy back then. I love the old vintage nylon stockings, garters, slips and bras. There was nothing sexier than those old "cheesecake" pin-up gals.

  Well I like anything that is girlie and feminine looking on a women, whether it is a modern look, a Victorian era look, the 50's look, etc. I would say the 50's era look is my favorite since it has the right amount of classiness and feminine, but it shows some skin while leaving a lot to the imagination. I guess the short answer would be yes.

  I like the previous ones better. To slip into a beautiful dress, along with a satiny crinoline petticoat, over silky nylon stockings feels truly incredible and feminine. This one looks like an onion or a light bulb, but it's better than most of the stuff today Yes, I am bi, but you probably guessed that.

  I still wear the short knee length petticoats around the house under short skirt, I have them cause I use them to square dance in. The all a ball to wear, they swish about as I do my house cleaning.

  I guess more old women than young, and the designs are also more outdated. But not many young women wear dresses or skirts often these days, so that could be it as well.

  Lol, I dunno, I guess my upbringing is different from other people? Also, before I was kinda of a tomboy and not into dresses and stuff, but then I wanted to become cuter (and classier?) and started wearing them more often and experimenting with layers. Most girls in Western countries don't go for petticoats because it isn't sexy, and that's the main goal nowadays. For other type of skirts, many already have a slip sewed inside, so theoretically you don't need to wear another one underneath.

  I can only speak for what I have seen here in America, but it does seem like women just want to dress "sexy" and "hot" as opposed to being cute, pretty or classy. It seems like most younger women that I am peers with have the impression that cute and pretty is for little kids and classy is something for older women.

  I have never had a job, I am a full time student so I can't really speak on that part. In my opinion I wish women would dress more feminine, pretty and cute like they did in the late 40's to early 60's here. Obviously there are women who dress like that still, but it seems the majority does not. As for guys opinions if I had to guess the majority would vote for sexy and hot.

I usually have slips built into my dresses, no need to wear one. If you can see my underwear, I'll wear one. In a formal gown, I always wear a pettiskirt.
