Why do guys "ajust" their pants?

Why do guys sometimes ajust their pants? like pulling the legs or crotch down or putting their hands in their pockets and stuff?

  • Our penises can get in the way and it feels uncomfortable. Not necessarily painful but it is an organ that has a mind of its own. It can get hard just sitting around doing nothing or by seeing a hot girl or just being in a state of fear. We like to move it out of the way.

    Like sometimes it can get hard and if it is going straight forward depends on what we are wearing we need to tuck it upward so it is not against a tougher surface(the pants) stuck. Sometimes our ballsack can also need to be moved out the way as it can be uncomfortable.

  • As others have said, it's mostly about getting things situated to be more comfortable. It's usually just a case of pants getting too tight in that general region, or simply having the genitals in an uncomfortable position that needs to be righted. Surely you've had your pants shift a bit too high, and wanted to just pull them down a bit to be more comfortable?

  • The same reason girls pick their underwear out of their asses. Sometimes your underwear/pants rides up in an uncomfortable way and requires adjustment.

  • Depends on the circumstances. What most of the guys said was valid, though there are other reasons. For instance, the crotch of our pants can bunch up and create what appears to be an erection, so we adjust them to prevent anyone from thinking that we have one and don't.
