Guys, honestly do you like long skirts?

I wanna wear more skirts but I don't always want to show my legs off, but for some reason I don't think that guys would like them too much ? Hides everything, but doesn't it leave something for the imagination? as long as the skirt demonstrates A figure :)

p.s. yeah of course I care about a man's opinion, so please don't say "wear what you like"..because I DO want to look nice ..

Ok - I may be the "old" category but if it matters, here is my view on this. There is nothing wrong with long skirts or dresses I they look stylish. They can also make a girl look really elegant. My only counter view is that if a girl is seen wearing long skirts very often, it becomes natural for others to think that you do it because are not comfortable showing your legs. Different people will see that differently. What I suggest is that you wear long skirts that are not boring. Occasionally find those that may have a slit at the lower end so they show just 6-8 inches above the ankle through the slit. Or may even have a longer slit which does not easily expose your leg or legs. Make sure you wear nice shoes or sandals that go with the skirt. Take care of year legs keep them clean and also make year feet attractive.

BTW - why do you want to not show your legs? (Nothing wrong with that though) are you kind of conservative or you don't like year legs?

no I have amazing legs I just say that because its not like I want to show them off everyday which is why I want to wear skirts but long ones sometimes :)

It's nice that you don't want to show off your skin. All a girl really needs is her curves and charm, right? Anything eye-candy can be saved after dinner (so to speak). Women with long skirts seem much more elegant, sophisticated and reserved.

Not every guy wants a girl to wear a corset and mini skirt when they go out. In fact, you'll find that if you dress the way you enjoy seeing yourself, you'll attract the types of people who share your similar interests in style. Personally, I like to see a nice long skirt or a sun dress on a girl. To me it's sexy without being "sexy" (that makes no sense at all I know). It shows me a softer side of a girl, the side of a girl that you would bring home to momma, but then turns out to be a freak in the sheets lol. So yes, for it does leave some to the imagination but at the same time is shows that you're not just some girl looking for attention. But that's just me and my opinion.

Long skirts can look very nice with the correct combination (top and shoes). If you look at videos from the early 1900s, you will see every woman wearing a long dress. It all looks so nice. I don't really know the correct word for how they all look. Anyway, if you add the right top and the right shoes, you will look fantastic.

I'm not a fan of long skirts at all. Its not that they don't show legs but that they just don't look good, they're not stylish. They say nothing basically apart from you're just wrapped in a long skirt. Better option in that case would've been to wear short pants or jeans, at least they look good.

I just don't see the reason for wearing long skirts, I mean what's the point.

I believe no form of clothing is off the table if you do it right. You can look as good and sexy in anything if you know what you're doing. Long-skirts also add an element of class is appropriately worn.

whether its long skirts or short skirts , both type of skirts has its good too.

Short skirts shows off your legs , however long skirts although it covers all of your legs , but to a man like me I would feel that its a mystery and you value your modesty.

Ok. Obviously we like legs, but a skirt is still a feminine piece of clothing so still looks good. You obviously don't want to be "on show" all the time but clothing that flatters your figure is always attractive.

Of course I like girls to wear long skirts , it covers all of the girl's legs and when we guys saw her wear such skirts , she will remain a big mysterious girl to us and somehow we also think this girl also values her modesty too by not showing a lot of her skin to guys.

Actually, long skirts hide minor imperfections, but they're styled to show off your silhouette to full advantage. They are figure enhancing for most girls who don't have a 'perfect' figure.
