Do guys whistle to get a girls attention?

Hi,
If I could whistle then no. It could be a nervous tick and he was doing it because he thought you were attractive, but that might be a stretch. I think there are much easier and more effective ways to get a girl's attention. I don't know you could open your mouth ever so slightly and project your pearly white dentures. In fact, you could do this while looking at her and I think we have a winner.
If you see him again and were attracted to him just do that unmistakably cute move you have tucked away and get his attention. Then you can teach him that whistling at you is kind of weird but worked. Maybe I should learn to whistle!

I don't think that whistling a tune (for several minutes) is used to get a girl's attention even if he is looking at her. But doing the wolf whistle (if that's what I think it is) is a disrespectful way to get a girl's attention. It's a way of saying that you are hot, and that he wants to do something more with you.

I've caught myself whistling as I've walked by a hottie before. Afterwards I'm like "You idiot, why did you start whistling right then". I don't think that attention is the desired impact of the whilstling. It's more of a release like "Phew, that was a close one"after nearly being hit by something. Men will then attempt to mask the fact that you made them lose their cool & inexplicably start whistling to hide the fact that you registered on their hottie radar. It's the first thing we think to do to hide the fact that our mouth is clearly responding to the visual of you walking by. Watch what men do with their lips, they can tell you a lot-
Lol no, I can't whistle without spitting so that is a no for me.
Ive noticed that if I'm near an attractive lady, I tend to pout my lips and bite the back of my teeth. I already have a strong defined jawline and doing those things makes them more prominent.
To get her attention of course :)
I can't whistle :(
Maybe this is the missing piece of the puzzle? Na, my absent jawline is.
Seems like the charming type
It could be, but then again everybody whistles.
Only disrespectful guys
I didn't feel disrespected because he didn't Woolf whistle he was jus whistling a tune but I couldn't jel but think was he trying grab my attention since I have seen look over at me a few times before. We work in the same place, different departments.
