This girl keeps telling me "you are so nice to me", meaning?

Every time I do a favor for her, she keeps telling me this. A "thank you" I understand, but she keeps repeating this, its seems like she wants me to KNOW that I'm being nice. Its not like I do big favors, its just niceties here and there. We are always talking and joking with each other and I like being around her and I get a "vibe" but I'm not so sure. SHe keeps complimenting me, telling me how funny I am, how I make her laugh etc, what can I make of this?

she really appreciates it and finds it a little new and weird as she probably doesn't feel like she deserves someone being nice to her all the time

it could also be that she's not used to having someone be nice to her a lot even if its small and she's grateful and feels she needs to say more than just thank you to get across that she actually does appreciate it

with the funny thing and complimenting she sounds like she likes you and you should ask her out

I would take it as a sign to ask her out. Take her out for a coffee or something! Just make sure that when you suggest it you mean a date so sk her if she would like to go on a date so there's no confusion that would put you in the friend zone! If she turns you down, you have your answer and can go back to doing favours and being a gentleman :)
