Guys: Do you ever purposely try to run into your ex?

I know I used to do this after my breakup with my ex. I was just curious if guys try and run into their ex if they know she will be there. If you do this or have done this, why? What were you hoping to happen by seeing them?

Not at all. I respect her personal space due to the fact that she no longer wants me in her life and has moved on to whatever she is interested in now. There are certain occasions where I see her but I make no step in making attention known because I believe her and I do not wish to have that awkward former girlfriend-boyfriend melodramatic atmosphere. Only when she wants to talk or chat, by her permission, I would do so. Other than the former, since she made no effort, nor will I. I do not hate her, I just want there to be a space of normality.

Well we are neighbors so right after the breakup I guess I wanted to show him that I was fine without him and I was happy but now I'm over that and I just do my own thing. But it seems like he purposely try's to run into me and talk to me and I don't know what he wants

I'd guess maybe he regrets breaking up? I think my ex's kind of feel like they took me for granted, and that they thought they had me hooked and then bam break up and ice cold no contact at all. lol So maybe he's going through some of that sort sort of stuff. I'd guess regret is common to both genders.

I never did it. Once there gone there gone and I don't care to ever hear, see or acknowledge there existence ever again.
