So I called her, but she didn't answer?

I'm in college. There's this girl in one of my classes that I've been talking to a lot more over the past week or two. I think we have great chemistry, lots of joking and she laughs at everything I say. I just get that feeling she likes me and that she flirts with me.

So, I asked her girl to hang out during last week but she said she was busy and we'd do it another time for sure. So she gave me her number and I said I'd call this weekend to set something up. She seemed excited and I texted her later for a little so she had my number.

I called her earlier tonight and she didn't answer. There was no voice mail set up so I couldn't leave one. But she's been on Facebook like all night and she posted an Instagram picture so I'm really confused. I have no reason to believe she was faking interest...

What do I do? Call again tomorrow?

Do not call or text her this weekend. Barring some rare act of God, she knows you called, so give her time to return it. If she's interested, she'll probably call You Sunday. If you don't hear from her, don't sweat it yet. Just act normal next week and if you feel that she's interested, ask her out in person. In fact, I'd have something in mind to ask he to if I were you. You can come on too fast to women and make yourself look desperate, but you can't really come on to slow. Just stay confident.

I kinda thought I was moving at a great pace so who knows. Maybe she'll call back tomorrow. If she doesn't I'll try in person Monday when I see her if everything seems ok... who knows...

You misunderstood me or maybe I wasn't clear enough. You're moving at a normal pace right now, but if you panic and hit the gas and call and text her a lot over the weekend, it might turn her off. But if you wait, you'll come across as more confident. I mainly mentioned the slow thing because I wasn't sure when your next class with her is. But Monday is perfect. If you feel she's interested, go for it.

I'm just going out on a limb here but do you know if she has caller ID? I don't answer calls unless someone texts me and says "Yo! Pick up!" It's also possible that she was too anxious to answer and thought ignoring it might be a better option. I would suggest texting her instead, if she doesn't answer that, her phone is broken or she's not interested.

It's her cell phone # so I'm assuming it shows who's calling. I can text her tomorrow and say what I was going to say on the phone tonight I guess. Her IG pic made it look like she was babysitting or with family or something.

You'd be correct that you are assuming. My CELLPHONE doesn't have caller ID.

I can only think of three reasons at the moment:

1. She just doesn't check her phone that often (like me haha)

2. She did see your missed call but either couldn't be bothered getting back to you or she was busy at that time, then forgot about it. (like me again haha)

3. She's playing hard-to-get

Yeah. Don't really think it's #3 though, she doesn't seem like the type who would know how to pull that off. What would you recommend I do?

Just text her a message - something like "Hey I called you but you didn't pick up. You up for dinner/lunch/movie?" But if she still doesn't text you back for a few days, just let her go.

Maybe its too soon to go out
