Should I or should I not get a tattoo of a mole on my face?

I've really been thinking of getting a few moles tattooed on my face. Bad decision? Health risks? What do you think?

By mole I am assuming you don't mean the animal. I think it would end up looking like a dark freckle instead of a mole. A real mole has some shape to it. Or at least all of the ones I have seen do. I don't think it would fool anyone into thinking you have a mole. It may even look like you have something on your face that you need to wipe off. Try something that isn't permanent first.

Your face is always in the sun, you can't hide it. So this tattoo would fade quicker than any other would. The first few weeks, it has to be kept out of the sun at all times. So it is not supposed to see daylight and even when it's healed, it can't be in the sun for very long. Are you willing to go through that? You're probably better off getting a piercing.

Well you'll likely end up with a mark on your face that you know is supposed to look like a mole, but to other people just looks like a little circle tattoo on your face. Don't do it.

Why not go with Henna first since it's not permanent but will last for a few weeks. Then if you like it that much you can stab yourself many times with needles to get that ink blot you want.

I just feel like you'll live to regret it. A tattoo is not the same as the real thing. Moles, or beauty spots, tend to have a texture and you just wouldn't get that with a tattoo. Plus they're not as attractive as they're assumed to be. It was popular back in the days of Marilyn but not so much now.
