What does it mean when a guy says "you are one of a kind"?

I was drunk, but I remember the night. He was sober and I am close to him. I do remember saying that I was mediocre and average lol! He was like "you're extraordinary, stunning and one of a kind." I thought about it the next day, haha! But I don't know if he was just being nice? or if he was sincere, but I am kinda stuck on "one of a kind" I don't now exactly what that means coming from a guy, so what does it mean fellas? I know I probably sound stupid, haha! Any thoughts peeps? Thank you! :)
