Guys: Your opinion on girls wearing plaid shirts?

I heard that some guys think it makes the girl look too masculine. I personally like how comfortable plaid buttonups are. Thoughts?

If it's your style if yours country type girl, and it's your heritage and pride to dress in plaid I don't see anything wrong with it it can look cute it's just a matter of wear you are going to wear it I mean dress is based upon a lot of wear your clothes are going to be worn at what location if your going out to a country club dancing it's perfect wear what you feel comfortable in I personally find plaid cute on a female I like country girls so I mean everyone's different you shouldn't set your style on what others think because some will have drastically different opinions about the same look doesn't mean the look is negative or wrong to wear it's all personal and based on YOU :D

I do not want to offend anyone but...

A lot of the guys I have asked this same question to have said the same thing

They associate plaid button ups with "butches" or "dykes"

Maybe that is why it is seen as masculine

I think ridiculously hot girls can wear it. But then again, they can pull off anything.

It's perfectly fine, this look goes very well with some girls. Just leave it unbuttoned with sleeves rolled to elbow length, paired with a T-shirt underneath, jeans and sneakers. This favors the skinnier/petite girls, else I'd have long brought my girl to buy one of these outfits haha.

I think that look is really cute. When they wear it with the shirttails out, I pull up the shirt tail and slap their behind sometimes.

It depends on how the girl wears it and what else she is wearing with it, though I am not a big fan of them.

I think plaid is perfectly fine. I feel like I have seen models wear plaid shirts in clothing ads.
