Will you have a large or small family yourself?

I have 3 siblings & both parents.

My dad's parents had 10 & lost my G-Pa in 1993 but a set of twins passed after being born. :( So they are 8 kids in total, with 28 grand kids including my sibling & myself, & 32 great grand kids.

My mom's parents had 10 too but one passed away after birth too. :( They are 9 in total, with 23 grand kids formally before my cousin's passing a year ago so it's 22 now including my siblings & myself and 2 great grand kids.

To me it doesn't seem like a big family for some reason. I have a couple of friends who's grandparents had 20 kids! That's CRAZY! :O

Eh somewhat. Its kinda confusing to explain to others because there are some double kins, but no incest is involved. My mom's dad's "wife" is my dad's mom's sister. So my aunt is my step grandma and my grandpa is also my step uncle.

I have two whole siblings, three half siblings, two step siblings. A step mom and step dad. My grandma has 4 kids My mom is the only girl), all of them have 2 or 3 kids. My grandpa (mom's dad) has 5 girls,one son, a step son and a late step daughter. I have 11 cousins on that side , that I know of. I have one who is my step cousin on that side, but biological on the other. On my dad's mom's side, I have a late aunt and an uncle. She has one child, he has 2 that I know of. I have 12 years old step uncles because my grandma got remarried. My dad's dad, I have no idea about.

Mom's mom = 4 kids = 11 grand kids, one step grandchild, one great-grand child

Mom's Dad= 6 kids, 2 step kids , 14 grandchildren (that I know of) , 2 step grandchildren

Dad's Mom= 3 kids, 2 step kids, 8 grand-kids (that I know of) , 2 step grandchildren

Fairly small. I have two brothers and no sisters. My mom has one brother that never had children. My dad had 4 siblings. Two of them died, only one of them had a kid before dying. The two remaining have two kids each. All of my grandparents excluding my paternal grandfather are living.

I like having a small family, there's less drama involved. And as the only girl of all of my cousins, I get the most love and attention which is great.

My family is massive. I have two sisters, but both of my parents have a lot of siblings. I have over 30 cousins, and a lot of second cousins.

I think I consider my family large because I'm close to most of them. My cousins and I are all close, and my sisters and I are suuuper close.

Depends on what is considered large.

I'm the 4th child out of 5. My mom was the 4th child out of 6. My maternal grandfather was the 11th child out of 12. I have 12 cousins on my moms side, and I only know of one cousin on my dads side but I know he has one full blooded brother and one full blooded sister and 5 half siblings. I don't know any of the half siblings or their children. It really all depends on how big are we talking and how far are we willing to go back in time? Cousins? Aunts and uncles? Grandparents? Or even great grandparents?

A very, large and diverse family. I really don't know know where I could begin to discuss in detail how many kids every one had and whatnot. Doesn't help that most of my parent's families are from different states. In my immediate family though, I am the oldest of two siblings and none of us have kids yet.

Big family. Lots of 2nd and 3rd cousins on mom's side. Dad's side, lots of first cousins, aunts & uncles. Mom has 2 sisters. All girls. Dad has 7 siblings, 5 bros, 2 sis. All my first cousins are girls on mom's side. Immediate family on mom's side is who I consider my real family but I have like 30-40+ 2nd and 3rd cousins. Everyone else on mom's side had lots of kids. I only focus/interact with immediate family on mom's side though.

Well I'm not too sure. I mean, I have only one sister. Now my mother has 4 brothers, my father has 3 sisters so I have a lot of cousins. My dad's parents have both passed away. We live in another country so the holidays are pretty lonely if we don't travel or if they don't visit (now it's just my mom, dad, and myself. My sister moved) so it feels like a small family.

I come from a large family. I haven't even met half of my yet. I have 6 full siblings, some are married and have kids. I would want a small family of my own, hopefully no more than 4 kids. I don't know how my mom raised us all and we all turned out normal.

My great grandpa had like 9 siblings, my dad had 6, I have 5. One sibling has 3 kids and another with 1.

So, if you go by the "American dream family" of 2.5 kids, than yes.

It's relative, but I think I come from a medium family. My mother has two siblings. My father has three siblings and I have one sibling and twelve 1st cousins.
