A: She is probably setting herself up for the worst every time, assuming that she will lose you which can be very hard on a girl. But you are right, that's not healthy and you need to tell her to either seek counseling or work out your problems better.

A: Yes, absolutely. There are lots of girls out there who aren't shallow and will see through looks into who you are. Just be yourself and don't get defeated. Also, you probably won't meet these girls at bars or nightclubs so be sure to look in places that are entertaining beyond drinking and dancing.
