Believing in yourself is one of the hardest things to do. Our society creates a negative environment of suggesting all the things that are wrong with us and that we need to become if we want to be happy and successful. Its hard to shut those ideas out of our minds when the media has such a strong emphasis on this issue , knowing everyone wants to be happy it is an easy target for them to aim at.It doesn't make it any easier that we all want something more than we have and if we do not get that one thing we want so much we feel like we have failed and blame ourselves for not being good enough. We all get our minds set on achieving this one thing but never seem to be able to get there, what is stopping us? We aren't believing in ourselves. Our negative attitude and our ego is letting our own and outside negativity crush our hopes and dreams.

Its not only the media encouraging our society negatively but often we can encourage ourselves into a negative pattern. By this I mean .. Letting ourselves get into unhealthy relationships (e.g. Family , friends , boyfriend/girlfriend) or if not something in our own lives we may look at someone else close to us and see that they are doing something negative and without realizing it let it take over our lives letting those negative ideas and thoughts into our heads about ourselves and our belief in ourselves slowly slipping away.

The next question would be , well how do you stop this from happening. It is up to you stop and think about what is best for you and make sure you block out the negative thoughts and situations in yourself at present. But if your finding your a little bit down and don't know how to get up and start doing this ,here are a few tips to help you get your courage to strive on back.

1.Realize you are a GREAT person no matter what

2.If you need some encouragement go up to someone and give them a compliment generally they will tell you something great about you that you may not see but I'm sure is very true

3.Go out and do something fun , if you don't have a hobby get one that you like , you don't need to impress yourself. Do what you enjoy.
