Lingerie Party
|
My roommates and I were at this guy's party, his "lingerie" party; mind you no one is in lingerie. We're chilling, hanging out and talking to people, typical party stuff. Well, out of the corner of my eye I see this girl in mile - high heels and a trench coat on. She's the only one there in lingerie and she looks like there would be no man alive brave enough to try to date her, except me. Haha, anyway, so, me and 2 of my friends see her and we're all talking to each other about how hot she is and everything so I decide it's now or never and approach her. I walk up to her and look her in the eye and say "Hi, I'm Colter, you know what the hottest thing about your outfit is?" and she looks at me and says "what?" So, I give her a good look up and down and then meet her back at her eyes and say "your glasses" (they looked like something velma from scooby doo would wear).
Well, despite her clearly not getting the joke, she just gives me this dirty look and starts talking to her friend. After that I just picked up my ego off the floor and went to go watch my friends play beer pong.
After all that was said and done, I noticed that she was just sitting on the couch with her friend and every once in a while I would catch her looking at me. Since I was a little pissed that she treated me with such disdain I gave her one good dirty look and tried not to look at her anymore.
Since that party I haven't seen the girl, but I'm pretty sure she remembered me for better or worse.
