A: I would go out on a limb and say that yes, he only called back because he felt guilty and that he didn't want to seem like a jerk. Unfortunately, by being (somewhat) polite, he has inadvertently lit up your hopes. If I was into someone, a week would NOT go by before I called back. Busy or not. more
