The way that I see it, in high school, flirting is an empty word that has lost almost all of it's meaning. Most of the kids in my school are seen "flirting" just to say hi to their friends. Now last time I checked (and believe me that wasn't that long ago) flirting was defined as making playfully romantic or sexually movements or gestures. So if this definition holds true then why is it that girls frequently blow kisses at random guys that they know that they would never even try to get with in a million years?

I once saw one of my female friends blow a kiss to this kid. Now I know that she didn't really know this kid and wasn't interested in him because I asked her who that kid was and she said "That's just some kid that's in my class." I don't know about you but I think that it was kind of mean for this above average girl to be flirting with a merely average guy that she has no interest in.

That brings me to my next point. The way I see it, it's the girls who are in charge of almost every sexual aspect of any high school relationship. It's clear that any high school guy whether he's in a relationship or not would follow a girl where ever she leads him. In my eyes, guys need to buck up and take the pants back from high school girls because my friends complain about how their girlfriends are taking over their relationships and quite frankly I'm annoyed. Since men(including me) say that they are the more domineering sex, why do the women control the relationships?
