Most likely it would depend on what the girl was into, whether or not she liked the same things I did. Assuming she did I would say a art museum, art show, play, sport thing, shopping or something similar.
If I'm not sure about the girl dinner and a movie and see how we react.
I would dress up, nice clothes, cut hair, shower, cologne (if I had some around), etc.
