I'm often what many girls are after once they've experienced much hardship, or are mature some other way, like age. 6ft, strong, and confident, with overflowing sarcasm. It'll sound arrogant, but I really do fit the knight in shining armor persona, the one girls like, unless I'm teasing the girl, which I also do :D.
Unfortunately I have a very hard time having feelings for another person, which puts a giant wrench in my knight in shining armor persona, so for now I want to help other people, and when the time comes, maybe I too, will be able to have a relationship.
About the girl compliment thing, some women are materialistic enough they'd rather be called HOT FOXY HOLY SHIT SHE'S FINE than pretty, or cute, or beautiful.
