Jealousy.. The Green-Eyed Monster
|
So, I have been battling this issue for quite some time. I've been with my Fianc for about 2 1/2 years. About a year ago, he started, ya know, looking at other women and saying "she's hot" or what not. I am not a woman of over abundant self confidence, so I get sad, start to tear and all that...I'm sure I'm not the only one who has screamed in their head, "I'm hot too! Look at me!!!" A few points on this: A. Men...it's in their nature. Too many years of breeding to plant the seed, you could be Jessica Alba {my man's object of affection, very justifiable} and your man would still look. B. It's not their not happy with you, sometimes I take it as a compliment, because he's with me, not them, and as a Christian, I believe humans are beautiful, the female body especially. I love my body, and women are beautiful creatures. You can't blame them for appreciating that. Anyways, I hope this kind of helped, I do struggle with it, I just need to grow up a little and not rely solely on my man for the boost of self confidence.
