I had a major problem. I fell for girls way too easily. If they stared, smiled at me, laughed at my jokes, made out, or hugged, I would go rushing towards my close girlfriends and then talk to them about it. I was so emotional about it and made a big deal about it. I instantly fell for those girls, sometimes even regardless of their looks.

After a while it started to bug my close girlfriends about it and then I started to realize what I was doing. I was making these things into a big deal. It sounded like this was the one for me or my soul mate.

I would usually get heavily impacted or deeply hurt when things didn't work out with that person. Why? Well I thought about the way she and I was acting towards each other too much and made a big deal about it. Once you start to think too much about these kinds of things, you usually expect more and you start to act differently towards the person you're going for. usually ruining whatever chance you had with them. I didn't like that hurt feeling that I received when things went downhill.

So I asked for some advice here on this sight got some things but didn't really do a whole lot for me at the beginning. So I did some thinking and I thought to myself: Why am I making these things sound so big? Why do I expect more? Why can't I just enjoy the moment? well soon enough I started to put these things to the test.

Whenever I met someone new, we got to know each other hugged and sometimes even made out. But during all those times, I never made it into a big deal or expected more out of it. I actually was having a lot more fun than before and just by enjoying that person's company. So when things were over, I wasn't bombed out about it anymore or hurt. WHY? I enjoyed the moment and didn't expect more out of it. I started to use this kind of attitude: If it happens it happens. So if we get to kissing that's great, if we don't that's cool too. I usually say thanks for spending time with me you know, some things like that.

My close girlfriends even noticed a change in me and they really did like this change, if you know what I mean. Things are going well for me, still meeting new people, but honestly I don't really want a relationship right now, kind of waiting till college, but I'm still going out there meeting new people and having fun.

-so remember: Don't expect more out of it, "if it happens it happens" and Just enjoy the moment!

I hope this will helped you out. let me know if this was helpful or not, don't worry I won't get hurt by your comets. Just as long as it's the truth and you're not being rude if you do tell me the truth, because I asked for your opinion!
