I think one's attitude about relationships really matters a lot. A while ago I felt that I was too into/in love with my current guy. He likes me back as well, but is still observant. I was frustrated about this irritation of when we'll be "sitting down" for days. Then today I realized that I really didn't know the difference between casual dating and a serious relationship - and what is the right time to go into it.
Everyone has different experiences regarding relationships; some are lucky and go into long-term relationships at a young age. Others are forever seeking for the perfect one but hasn't had much luck. But most importantly perhaps we should really be understanding the keys and basic traits of a successful relationship - including the definitions of real love, timing (so very important!), and our own standards of our partners which will affect the quality of the relationship.
Anyway, I think it's really good that I realized this - not rushing. I really do respect him so I want the best for him as well as myself and ultimately, for the hopeful relationship.
