Finally saying "I love you."

Finally saying

Behold, The Light in my Hand

I've loved you for a long time and its nice to finally say it.
I'm sure you've known for quite some time now;
Maybe you've seen it on my face while talking...
Struggling to find words other than "I love you."
I'm sure there are words more capable of describing my feelings
However, with you in sight I'm at a loss for thought, let alone words.
It seems the harder I try writing you a romantic poem,
The more ridiculous I sound and just as well the more I dislike it.
I've managed to muster up a few nervous words in your favor though.
Unfortunately, I'm a simpleton, and with me come simpleton words:
Your eyes, are the most incredible things I've witnessed in my life.
Not simply because they are beautiful, but rather why they are.
Subtle pain resides within your eyes, just as sorrow lies
Along your virtues, whether or not your words speak true.
Just as pain and sorrow lie are warmth and kindness standing by.
Your eyes are bright with light, beaming with honesty
Outshining everything the earth may offer to compare.
You dim out the starlight raining down,
As you do the city lights roaring loud.
Wonders of the earth fall short in comparison to you;
You're more wondrous than any wonder on the earth old or new.
I love you, and I'm sorry for admitting it.
As lovely as you are, you fail to see your sorrow and pain will end.
I believe you are destined to be as happy as you are kind and stunning.
I sincerely pray your heart feels the grace you deserve and desire someday.

Finally saying "I love you."
