If they say no, the worst thing that happens is that you're in the situation you were in before and nothing changes. And you can have cake to comfort you later.
5- No more wondering and guessing.
Whatever the answer is, at least you'll know now and you won't look back in a few times asking "what if"
As you get older and you start looking back, you almost never regret the times you failed, but you almost always regret the times you never even tried. :)

Not true. The worst that can happen is that they straight up break contact with you, or that you end up stuck in a painful relationship of unrequited interest with a person whose attitude towards you probably took a big turn for worse that you ultimately decide to break off instead. If nothing bad happens after you get rejected, my guess is that the involvement from both of you was borderline nonexistent in the first place anyway.
There was a time I failed actually.. but probably because I completely messed up my approach and indirectly called her a slut.. bad times I don't want to remember. Luckily she graduated.
This would have been great like a month ago. He's taken now. Oh well!

It's hard though, girls are always getting told that THEY should be the ones being pursued, and to never make the first move because guys are turned off by that. It sucks because otherwise I'd definitely ask a guy out; this logic is perfect lol.
It's only the guys that pull chicks easily that thats the case for, its an affront to their ego. Their mates would be like so she chose you? Grow some balks blah blah. Its like 10% of guys. Most guys would love to be asked out so just do it!

The worst that can happen is they say "no"? I'm sorry you're so innocent and naive about people. A lot of people, especially girls, can be horribly hurtful when they turn people down.
