7 Types of Stereotypical High School Couples 💏

So, I’m starting my senior year of school tomorrow. Yay… (NOT.) For the occasion, I’m going to post a couple of school-related mytakes while the workload is light. For today’s take, we will talk about the types of couples you will come across within the hallways of high school. Some are sorta cute for your generic high school couple, while some are just plain annoying. Let’s take a look, shall we?

Note: Some of you don’t get that I am not saying that they are ALL like this, and these are just stereotypes. I am fully aware that not everyone in the entire universe conforms to these stereotypes. Also, please try not to get offended, as this is supposed to be a lighthearted, funny myTake. Thank you.

Here are seven stereotypical couples that you will find in high school!

The inseparable couple

This is the couple that is attached at the hip. They walk each other to class and kiss and hug by the door, acting like their S.O. will be leaving for an eternity. Then, when the class is over, they run back to each other like a scene out of an army movie and walk each other to the next class. There’s no separating these two.

The “on-again-off-again” couple

They are constantly fighting as every little thing sets one of them off. You wanna hang out with your best friend? He or she will get pissed at that. You have homework? They’ll accuse you of not making time for them and will cut things off. That’s okay, though, because they’ll make a lame attempt to win them back and it will somehow work. They’ll be broken up again the next day though.

The P.D.A couple

Everyone has this couple lurking somewhere in their school. This is the couple who makes out on your locker in between periods. This is the couple who fucks behind the bleachers during after-school hours. This is the couple who has a full out makeout session during class while you’re trying to get your work done. They are by far one of the most annoying couple types.

The age gap couple

This is the freshman who is going out with a senior because they like “mature” guys. They’ve been to every school dance, even if they are age-restricted, because their older S.O. gives them access to all these things. DIdn’t go to prom because you didn’t have a date? Pretty sure the age gap couple has been.

The gossip couple

This is the couple who gossips about another couple. Go to them if you want all the latest details on every other person’s relationship status.'

The matchers

This is the couple who comes to school every day matching. Weather they have the same football jersey to the same sunglasses, this couple loves to show their undying affection for each other through matching outfits. I actually have seen this one in my school. They would come in school almost every day matching and it was adorable.

The “6th graders”

This is the couple stuck in sixth grade. For their 1 month anniversary, they will get each other a bag of Sour Patch kids or gummy bears. Oh, and they still pass notes under their desks. Will they ever grow up?
