The First Kiss: Nervous? Here are some tips!

Hey there people!

So you're proabably here because you are thinking about having your first kiss. Or you just want to read this for fun.

So I had my first kiss only about half a year ago. So i know how crazy and nervous you are about this all. So i have some advice for all of you!

First: Don't plan it. If you do don't tell the other person.

This is what happened to me. My boyfriend had planned out our entire first kiss. This would have been fine if he didn't then go an tell me all the details. It wasn't as spontaneous and magical. Seeing as this was the first kiss I've ever had it my life, it kind of lost the magic. I'm not saying that it wasn't wonderful because it was.

Second: Make sure you have fresh breath.

This is very important. Having nasty breath kind of ruins this magical moment. Just make sure that you have breath spray or one of those little fresh breath squares with you. It will make it a lot more enjoyable. It will also help because you won't be worrying about your breath.

Third: Expect the unexpected.

In the movies it make kissing look glamorous. In truth kissing is not glamorous, Especially the first kiss. Kissing is a lot different from what I expected it to be.

Forth: Don't expect it to be perfect or fireworks.

Usually first kisses are a little awkward. Especially if its your first time kissing. Figuring out what you're supposed to do takes a bit of practice. Don't worry though. You'll get better at it with every kiss.

Fifth: Use your hands.

Don't just stand there like a stick. Kissing is also about the hand placement. Make sure to move your hands around a bit. Keep it interesting - nobody wants to kiss a wall.

Sixth: Just be natural.

I know its scary but just be natural. You will figure out what to do. Just stay lose and do what you think is right. If your partner has kissed anyone before either he/she is struggling too. Don't worry about it. You will have a lot more kisses in your life than just your first one.

my opinion on a nervous first kiss is that if you're NOT nervous & shaking during a 1st kiss then you're wasting your time with that person because being with a person that doesn't take your breath away is pointless. love shouldn't be mediocre, love should make your knees weak & your face hurt from smiling so much. so my advice is look for that person that makes you mess up the first kiss :P

And what are you Sherlock? Those are some simple tips for people who are nervous. Nice advice, nothing wrong with it. And plus usually the first kiss is somewhere in the teens, so if she has some experience why not help the others who are worried too?

Its fine. You can choose who you take your advice for. I posted this because i just recently had my first kiss and i just feel that i can give advice to other teens who are worried about kissing. You don't have to listen if you don't want. Next time just try to refrain from posting comments like this. It really just agrivates others and waists space and time.
