Attitude is who you are pretty much though.
I guess if you want to change your attitude you have to change the way you think.

Stop thinking of certain things in a certain way; like if you two fight for instance, arguing doesn't make the situation better, only worse, so know when to give in. It doesn't make you weaker, it makes you stronger for being able to control yourself

Think about why you are like this. Did you have a bad experience with someone, and are just trying to keep him in line, or do you just want everything your way? You can't be selfish, relationships require sharing.
It would help if you gave an example of what exactly he doesn't like that you do.
