I accidentally sent a topless pic to the wrong guy? Do I tell my boyfriend?

So, I was snapchatting dirty pictures to my boyfriend, and one of the more innocent ones actually made it to someone else as well. It was just a picture of me in my bra, without any face showing, thank god. The guy I sent it to, his name begins with A so he was at the top of my snapchat, so I think I must have clicked his name when I was swiping down on my phone to find my boyfriend's name?

I freaked out when snapchat said it was sending it to two people, and contacted the other guy to apologize. He has a girlfriend. He laughed and said it was no big deal, he knew it had been a mistake and closed it, and said he wouldn't tell anyone. Although I don't know him very well, he's been my social circle for about 8 years and I know he's a good guy, and wouldn't have saved it.

My problem now is, do I tell my boyfriend when he gets back from his holiday? I can't decide if telling him would make him unnecessarily uncomfortable, or if by thinking that I'm just being a coward. I don't know how to explain it in a way that won't upset him :(

If there is absolutely no way he could ever find out, I wouldn't tell him. It was an accident. However, if you sent it to a person who might tell someone else your boyfriend knows, or anyone who your boyfriend might catch wind of you sending that picture, I would tell him immediately. He might get mad, but it will be better for him to hear it from you than from someone else. He will be even more upset and suspicious about why you never told him in the first place. I doubt he would believe anything you could tell him at that point, even if it's the truth.

I accidentally sent a picture of myself in my underwear to a good female friend. She had bought me a coat as a gift and asked for a picture of me wearing it. I took some pictures, scrolled thought the picture gallery and sent one. From the preview it looked like it cut off at the waist, but it cut off much lower. It was a total accident, but I felt so bad sending it to her out of the blue like that.

I think you should tell him, and tell him exactly what you wrote on here. Because if he somehow found out another way it would be a problem, but if you told him straight up then he should be fine and he should be happy you told him. I think the sooner you tell him the better also.

I wouldn't tell him. But that's also the reason I never take those kinds of pics bc I've known too many girls that got into a much of crap bc the wrong person saw some boob pic or whatever.

Don't tell him. He doesn't need to know. Just because you are dating somebody does not mean you need to tell them everything about yourself.

Nah. There's no point in telling your boyfriend. It was a mistake, the guy you sent it to laughed and understood. No harm done.

I think you should tell him. It was a mistake and he should understand. Besides, what if he finds out and you didn't tell him. He would lose trust in you. Just explain that it was an accident

Best to come clean. These things have a way of coming out down the road. I think he'd be more pissed off if he found out through someone else a year from know.
