Guys, do you use exclamation points in text messages on a regular basis with anyone or everyone?

Yes, I use them frequently and with all sorts of people.

No, I don't use them that much and if I do then it's for a reason.

I... I just cant.. I'm sorry LOLLL.. I don't know but when I feel like my sentence needed an exclamation point, I make myself think like.. "oh wait I'm not that excited about it".. hahahha I just don't think I should be using exclamation points.. it just.. for lack of a better word.. makes my texts sounds gay -__-.. like how excited can someone be theyre texting something.. if it was so exciting that you need an exclamation point, don't you think you should actually call or meet in person? loll I feel like that guy on Seinfeld.. who is Elaine's boyfriend.. and he doesn't put an exclamation point at the end of a message that said Elaine's friend is having a baby... LOLLL and Elaine is like.. "DONT YOU THINK THAT WOULD WARRANT AN EXCLAMATION POINT?!?!.. I WOULD PUT ONE IF ONE OF YOUR FRIEND HAD A BABY!"... hahhahahahhaha oh the hilarity! =)

I never use them in a txt just because it looks kinda gay lol.

I dunno, seems kinda weird to me, I have no idea why.. I do use them in normal writing and stuff though, when its not casual.

I do a lot to imply that my words are upbeat. Like this! Txting makes everything hard to read emotionally. I also use LOL alot, because otherwise you might get your meaning mistaken
