Is 30 old for a woman looking for a relationship?

A girl at work was telling me how depressed she got when she turned 30. It's not that old is it?
The scary part is that she is married and I'm single at 29!
Am I no longer hot on the market?
I want to be in love but worry I will never find the one.
I feel like it won't... Do I have to find someone this year if I want marriage and kids?
Is this clock about to time out?
I feel so old! Are my looks going to fade as soon as I hit 30? Will guys no longer lust after me?
Do men feel attracted to women over 30?
I feel old. Are women not lusted after by men after the turn 30?
I'm 29 this year and I'm freaking out!

I don't look it tho...

I haven't had kids yet and I'm single so my age is starting to freak me out.

It's looking pretty grim... most people my age are married and having kids...
I'm really depressed. Is the best part of my life over? Do men only look at young women? I don't want to get old :( Whenever i tell people my age they are like, "oh wow! I didn't know u were THAT old!"
My biggest fear is that I will end up alone. Have I already? I've been single for 7 years... Will I remain alone until I die? I'm so depressed at the thought of living my life without a family.

Ok so I'm 33 and and until a couple of years ago I was in a stable relationship for 8 year we had been living together until we realized that we didn't have feelings for each other anymore but we were good friends and that's how it remained. But it was rough because first of all I wasn't a 20 year old guy anymore but I was hitting 30. Then it started I meat a really nice 22 year old pole dancer and it was great we had fun but it didn't work out then I meat another 21 year old and we really had a great time for a couple of months I had never felt this way but it didn't work out again. Well currently every so often she tries to come back but then has problems again but that's not the point. I also dated for a couple of weeks some other women. But here's the catch end of last year I meat this really nice girl she was fun and crazy just the right way and she was 31. She looks great just as good as the 22 year old and her head is on the right way so the whole relationship is easy and fun.
So I'd say no it's not old it's probably just becoming the right age for finding somebody you'll have a great time with and it will finally be something good. So don't worry and just have fun. :)

It depends on the person to be honest.

But honestly it will be harder for over 30 women due to:-

1. Shrinking pool of candidates, men who are stable financially with a high status profession, have good looks and good character are comparatively few to begin with, many would have been already taken.

2. If a younger girl goes after the same man all other things being equal, it's going to be hard to compete, as a russian lady once said and I quote "there are younger ladies being born everyday"

Women need to think what they really want in life, work for it and don't regret what they choose. Specially if you choose wrongly, advice others of the perils of the choices being made, don't drag them down with you.

You're still young! Lots of people don't start families until they're in their 30s. I know some people who loved turning 30. The best part of this chapter in your life is yet to come!

30 is not old, but it is the beginning of getting old. If it honestly bothers you this much, then you need to get cracking on finding a partner and starting a family.

So, ok. I want to balance making you feel good and being bluntly honest. Most men find women younger than you to be the most attractive. Speaking for myself personally, a 20 year old is sooooo much hotter than a 30 year old. They just are. This is likely due to evolutionary biology. Women are most fertile in their late teens/early 20s, then fertility steadily and significantly declines until it reaches zero. It's basically encoded into our DNA. There's no real way around that. Of course, there is some variation, in terms of men's preferences, but on the aggregate, that's most men's taste. But, that doesn't mean that the situation is hopeless or anything. 20 year olds as a category are hotter than 20 year olds as a category. But, that doesn't mean that every 20 year old individually is hotter than every 30 year old individually. For example, most men would probably prefer a 30 year old woman with an absolutely bangin' body to a 20 year old with an average body (not all, though). As for what

Basically, age is just one aspect of physical attraction. So, (in the opinion of most men) a 20 year old with a bangin' body and pretty face is hotter than a 30 year old with a bangin' and a pretty face. And, an average looking 20 year old is hotter than an average looking 30 year old. But, a 30 year old with a bangin' body and a pretty face will probably be considered to be hotter than an average looking 20 year old, by most men. So, if you're feeling insecure about your appearance (love yourself the way you are, blah blah, but I'm guessing that you came here for some practical advice), start hitting the gym. Try to get that low waist-to-hip ratio. Present yourself well (clothing that accentuates your body, a nice looking hairstyle- based on my preference and conversations I've had, most men seem to prefer long hair). Be fun and flirtatious. Don't always wait for the man to initiate etc. You take those steps and, at age 30, you could still be more physically and sexually desirable than most 20 year olds.

(part 3) And, that's just the physical side. (Obviously) looks are not the only consideration that men make. A lot of men your age and older find women your age to be more mature, better to converse with, more intellectual, on a more similar wavelength etc. So, a lot of men your age and older might prefer a woman who's around your age, even though they find women who are younger than you to be more physically attractive. And, (this is a bit less optimistic, but) most men can't just date whoever they want. Young women are highly desirable and, especially for older men, difficult to attain. Some young women don't like the idea of a significant age difference etc., so for a lot of men your age and older, a woman your age is easier to attain and also may be more desirable on the personality side. So, yea. To summarize, being 30 is certainly a disadvantage from a physical attraction standpoint, but one that can be partially compensated for with regular exercise and good self-presentation. Being flirtatious and not always waiting for the man to initiate could make an enormous difference. Women your age also may have some personality advantages, and are generally easier to attain for men your age and older. A lot of this depends on the age of the man. Most men prefer younger women, physically, and are most interested in women younger (often significantly younger) than he is. But, to a man in his late 30s, 30 might seem pretty young. All in all, just put yourself out there. Try to look the best that you can (a low waist-to-hip ratio can make a huge difference, honestly). Don't always wait for men to initiate. Consider going for older men. You should be fine. A lot of women get married in their mid or late 30s (I think?). You should be fine. Hope this was helpful.

Many of the good eligible bachelors are taken by your age especially since guys tend to marry women a coupke years younger than them. the good news is that a lot of people have waited longer to marry so there are more than in the past generation. But that doesn't stop your biological clock. So yeah, time is short. Your looks will be fine and some look better at that age as they know how to dress better and more flattering.

Don't get me wrong, most girls at age 30 can get laid with young men, but relationships with a young man is indeed far less likely.

Then why do I get messaged and approached by almost nothing but 20-25 year olds? OCCASIONALLY a guy over 30 (which is what I prefer). Seriously when I was in my 20's I got asked out by kids in highschool. It's annoying sometimes.
