How does an overweight teen guy get a Girlfriend?

Alright, So basically im a 215lb Dude (Just over 15st) and i'm 16, I use to be 17 stone but lost 2 stone in the past few months, Still scarred on the hips with remnants of stretch marks tho ;(.
I still got like another 30-45 lb to loose tho :/
Without sounding obnoxious i am pretty built muscle wise, At work i can easily lift a 25kg Cement bag in each arm so muscle does make up a lot of that weight.

Anyway, Because i grew up my entire school life being on the borderline of obese needless to say i got my fare share of being bullied. And i litteraly have 0 confidence around girls even after loosing weight, Im just so scared they will judge me because im still not skinny enough. (Almost every girl i know is dating some skinny, borderline annorexic dude so thats bums me down a bit).

So yeah, Im a farely burley 16 year old who just wants to get to know a girl but has no confidence around them, I mean i will never say the first word. And some girls in the past who i have been closed friends with and almost enterred a relationship with i pushed them away out of fear that they would put me down / humiliate me over my figure
(I can't even explain how incredibily insecure i am about myself, I litteraly feel sick whenever i walk past a window or something and see myself in the reflection and just feel sad and want to go somewhere where im not in public),

So yeah, I dont want a supermodel or anything, Hell, When youve been where I've been looks are probably the last thing you care about. All i want is a Nice, funny girl who i can be bestfriends with (Gay ik). But there dosent seem to be a girl that exists on my continent who would give you a second look unless you were a 250lb 100% muscle, 6 pack bodybuilder with pecks and all or if you were a 150lb near annorexic twig.
So how do i get a girl to see past my undesireable physique?

First of all, you don't look fat or too fat to me in the picture you linked. Sure you're not a twig, but not everyone has to be a twig. People have different body types, and that's good. You say you are trying to lose weight and have lost some already (congratulations) so you just keep doing that until you feel good about the way you look. But I honestly feel like you're putting yourself down waaay too much and are way too critical of your own looks. I'm fairly certain the bullying you described has to do with this.

Second of all, most girls don't like twigs. Most girls also don't like excessive muscles. Most girls do, in fact, like normal guys. I think one of the main reasons you have trouble finding girls is because you are so insecure. You describe the horror you feel when you see yourself in a window. Girls can feel this lack of confidence and it's not something that girls will find attractive. I know you can't just push your "confidence button" and solve things from one second to the next. But I feel like you are on the right track. You are losing weight, you recognise that you have no confidence AND you come across as a nice and thoughtful young man.

Try not to focus too much on getting a girlfriend just yet. You need to build your confidence first and accept yourself the way you are. I know it sounds cliché but it's honestly true. Maybe try to speak to girls more often (even if you don't fancy them in particular) just so you get some sort of routine in it.

On a side note: don't beat yourself up about the stretch marks. So far, all of the men I was involved with had some stretch marks, even the ones that were never fat. I have them as well, and many of my female friends have them. So don't feel like that's unusual, because it really is not.

I'm a teen, who's funny, and easy to talk to.
I HATE ABS OH MY GOD.
My boyfriend is almost 300 lbs and he's the most attractive guy ever.
I'm a chubby chaser, and no my standards aren't low, that's who I find attractive.
I have my flaws (Like my easy jealousy), But he's okay with it.
I don't find skinny guys or muscular skinny attractive in the slightest.
And I'm thin (not bordeline or anorexic)
Every girl likes someone different, don't lose weight for ANYONE trust me it's not worth it.

But girls like that are rare.
And out of all honesty, girls as superficial as that will find someone they find more attractive and play with a guy's emotions. Trust me, you'd rather have no one than that.

Maybe you should focus on yourself for a little while, not because you got no chance with any girl but because you won't be at ease. So i suggest you take your time, make friends, go out more often, and keep going with your exercising...

Not saying you can't I'm overweight myself I'm 5'11 and 274? But its harder for guys who are overweight then it is for girls to get dates. The only advice I can give is put off dating for now exercise eat right. Then and only then date.

Did you even read the post? Im trying to... I've lost just over 2 stone in 3 months and got another 2.5 stone to go, Im trying to loose weight litteraly by starving myself and going to the Gym every single night.

That's the thing, starving yourself won't help. Have a proper diet that won't affect your mood and clarity. All you need to impress women is confidence and no I didn't read the question because it was just what I expected. It only falls for what a woman likes, chubby or ripped but the majority likes a guy who can take care of his health. Lose weight and have confidence, you don't need to be ripped.
