How did you meet your bf/gf? How long did you know them before you two started dating? How long before you two were official?
I'm curious to hear peoples' stories :)
Met my boyfriend at work. He trained me on the site that I am working at now. So we had 2 12 hour shifts together and we were alone 99% of the time. During those shifts we talked quite a bit about pretty much everything and we sort of clicked.
Originally he worked the opposite shift of me so I knew if I didn't get his number or make some sort of plans with him in those 2 days I would not get a chance to because I would not see him at work again and likely ever again.
My boyfriend is an introvert so I ended up asking him if he wanted to hang out and asking for his number.
We made plans to go out for lunch on December 11 2014. That was our first date and it went great. In the following weeks we went out. We kissed on the second date, we had sex on our fourth date, and December 25 came around and I wasn't sure what we were so I asked if we were in a relationship and he said yes. So we became official on Christmas not because we planned it that way it just worked out that way.
Met when I was 14 in 2007. Had this whole flirting kind of dating but really not thing that happened for a while. Started dating officially October 1, 2011. And now here we are.
We met in Costa Rica on vacation. We officially got together because I asked his mother if I could ask him to homecoming. She said yes. He said yes. Picked him up at 6:00 for dinner. Dance was at 8. By 8:30 we decided we were official and exclusive. And now it's 2015. The end.
I met him online and we dated. It was a dating site, so we didn't wait long before the first date because of course we were both looking to date. It wasn't more than a few weeks at most. After the second or third date we were officially girlfriend and boyfriend.
Knew my girlfriend for 4 months before we got together. Met in our history class last year. We sat next to each other and became best friends in that class. Then she asked me out one class and i said yes. I've been with her for 6 months now and i love her.

About 3 weeks. Then I told him we should be together and he agreed. Ten years later and we are married. He's awesome, lol.
The thing about shitty experiences is, there is ALWAYS something to gain from them, regardless of how crap it feels. You will realise that once you get over the hurt. I know it sounds cliche hun, but stuff like that helps you to grow. Don't waste that pain, it's going to be vital in helping you to make the next relationship better!!! Chin up xx
