Some girls are raised up thinking that guys will think they are to emotional, or that it is wrong to cry a lot. Crying is natural, but even I hate crying infront of people.

maybe cause she has some serious problems and it is too hard to share it with you. She hides it cause she doesn't want you to be worried.
She feels vulnerable perhaps? Maybe she doesn't want to appear weak in front of you. I sometimes do that.
Stop being a titch. Be a man about it and use force if necessary.
