You'll probably need to be with a guy who doesn't want kids or who already has them. I have panic attacks (in general) and have been unsure about pregnancy because of the hormonal effects. It has been a stumbling block for me, I admit. It was part of the reason I lost one serious relationship. But I don't think it will keep you (or me) from meeting and staying someone - we just have to keep looking for the right fit. It can be a bummer, especially as guys can have most mental & physical health problems and still have their kids. But we can't change how babys are born, so focusing on the positives is a better choice. Best wishes.

I wouldn't blame my girlfriend for having tokophobia. Giving child birth is a beautiful thing and all (visually gross), but the idea of a live being inside of me would just freak me out. Obviously I'm not a girl, but still, I just would just feel freaked out the entire 9 months. So I would understand how she felt and tell her that her fear is ok with me. Adoption is always an option.
Honestly, I wouldn't marry her. I want kids and lots of them (3-5). That's a huge life decision and I need to be with someone who feels the same. I wouldn't mind adopting, but I'd still want kids from my own flesh and blood.
